Claudia Lopez is a Cuban-American, Miami born and raised singer- songwriter. She grew up in a musical family always surrounded by music. Claudia always knew she was going to be a musician and learned to play the guitar and piano amongst other instruments and as early as 6 years old, Claudia had written her first song and found her passion in songwriting. 

 

In 2009, she received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and after returning to Miami was accepted to University of Miami Frost School of Music's Jazz Vocal Program where she received her bachelor's degree. Claudia is a versatile musician who can perform a large variety of musical styles from Pop, Rnb, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Blues, to Salsa and Latin-Jazz. Her writing styles usually fall within the Pop/R&B genre however, you can feel the influence of her latin roots and jazz training.  Aside from singing professionally, Claudia also works as recording session musician and has a studio in Miami called C&C Production Studio. 

 

In 2019, Claudia released her first Single "Crazy" which she composed, arranged, and produced. The record features world renown, grammy winning Saxophone player Dr. Ed Calle. In August 2021, Claudia released her debut album “Running out of Time” which is available on all digital platforms. The album is a beautiful tribute to her late sister/cousin Jennifer Cordero who passed away 5 years ago. She seeks to tell her everything that she hasn’t been able to tell her in the last 4 years. Today, Claudia is touring south florida performing her debut album "Running out of Time" and is working on new music which will be released this year as well.
