Biography




Claudia Lopez is a Cuban-American, Miami born and raised singer. She was born in Miami Florida on August 30, 1990. She was born into a musical family. Her father was a singer-songwriter, played piano, trombone, bass, and guitar. Her grandmother was a classical pianist. Claudia grew up listening to latin, R&B and Pop artists such as Celia Cruz, Luis Miguel, Alejandro Sans, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson and many more. Claudia always knew she was going to be a musician and learned to play the guitar and piano amongst other instruments. At the age of 8, Claudia had written her first song and found her passion in songwriting. She received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and after returning to Miami was accepted to University of Miami Frost School of Music's Jazz Vocal Program where she received her bachelor's degree. Claudia is a versatile musician who can perform a large variety of musical styles from Pop/Rnb, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Blues, to Salsa and Latin-Jazz. Her writing styles usually fall within the Pop/R&B genre however you can feel the influence of her latin roots. Aside from singing professionally, Claudia also works as recording session musician and has a studio in Miami FL called C&C Production Studio.
In 2019, Claudia released her first Single "Crazy" which she composed, arranged, and produced. The record features world renown Saxophone plater Ed Calle. In August 2021, Claudia released her debut album “Running out of Time” which is available on all digital platforms. The album is a beautiful tribute to her late cousin Jennifer Cordero who passed away 4 years ago. She seeks to tell her cousin everything that she hasn’t been able to tell her in the last 4 years. Today, Claudia is touring south florida performing her debut album "Running out of Time" She is working on new music which will be released this year as well.
